My favorite videos on how to be like Christ in our daily lives through our daily and consistent thoughts and actions.
The first video comes from a talk entitled, ‘Continue in Patience’ by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf and is a sweet and powerful message about human nature and the blessings that come through patience if we follow the commandments and trust in God.
The second video comes from a talk called, ‘What Shall a Man Give in Exchange for His Soul?’ by Elder Robert C. Gay. It carries an important and strong message about personal integrity in the face of our wants and desires.
The third video is called ‘Lessons I Learned as a Boy’ and is narrated by Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. It has been one of my favorites since I was a small child, touching my soul deeply, and I love the simple message of honesty and kindness towards others that it preaches. Warning: Every time I watch this video, I can’t help but cry from the beauty of the message.
The fourth video is narrated by Elder D. Todd Christofferson titled, ‘The Will of God’ and speaks of how we must trust in God and in His plans for us and have patience and faith, even if we do not understand why we are doing the things we are asked to.
